There’s a lot of chatter on different social media platforms regarding what needs to happen to people who support Trump. I’ve seen calls for doxxing, calls for “re-education camps”, and even some calls for outright violence.
I’ve also read posts encouraging armed conflict, stringing up liberals for treason, and other outright nonsense from people on the Right. It’s time for the “Karens” on both sides to sit down and let the grown folks talk for a minute.
I agree that there is the appearance of some serious shenanigans taking place in regards to the election. I agree that there is a real possibility that the Left has attempted to channel its inner Don King and fix the fight. I agree with the feelings of anger, frustration, and betrayal.
I am a born and raised Texan. Being that means quite a bit, and it definitely means that I have never been scared of a good fight. What it doesn’t mean, however, is that I’m the type of person who runs off all full of piss and vinegar, trying to wage war with everyone who thinks differently.
Right now, the battle must be fought in the investigations, in the courts, and in view of the public. Don’t jump just because you feel froggy. Give it a chance to play out.
This is not the end of America.
Let me say it again for the folks in the back.
THIS IS NOT THE END OF AMERICA!
Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, let me explain.
America is more than parcel of land between Mexico and Canada. It is an idea like no other, an experiment of unparalleled success, a beacon of hope to the rest of the world. It’s been that way since 1776, when simple men and women decided to stand up to the largest world power at the time, demand that mankind be free, and live with liberty and dignity.
The flag still waves in the wind, the bald eagle still soars above, and God Almighty still blesses this wonderful Nation.
I love y’all!
